Sporty Chick

Sports Chalet is the perfect destination to to be inspired by yes..clothing trends! Although their prices usually don't fall into a real girl's budget, their styles and preselected outfits could easily fall into a real girl's closet!

This is a major twist on the sheer lace top that's been in every magazine and on every model. The tank under it is a color blocked, slim fitting crop top.

This is the sportiest style I saw. The top is an athletic runners top. But here's the twist: it's layered onto a silky feminine green tank.


I had to look twice at this! It's a petite strapless sundress with a lace knit top on top. This is an awesome way to turn one dress into two styles.

Of course we all know Marshalls is famous for their dresses but here's why! Look at this emerald green lace dress! I can picture it with a 2" brown braided belt, a purple chain necklace, and brown or nude flats!

Shortie Shorts

I am in love with these L.A. Idol jeans! They aren't too flashy yet they still show off a lot of bling! They are about $40.00 on the L.A. Idol website. I have one pair of designer jeans (Miss Chic) and love them! They are really sturdy!

The Spike Trend

Another trend that has been everywhere is spikes! At Kohl's today, I saw probably 15-20 pairs of of girly shoes that were given a rocker edge with these intimidating spikes!

These were my favorite pair! They are so girly and feminine in the front but edgey in the back!

These two were both on the same display of the ever famous gladiator sandal but with a twist

And lastly, these. I don't really "love" these but they do go with this trend so I thought I would post them anyways

Cute lace heels!

Who says you can't find cute thimgs at TJ Max? Well today while I was out, I was drawn to these two gems! They were $14.99 and amazing quality...too bad they didn't fit! But lace...is...in! Hopefully I'll get around to posting more lace accessories! Besides clothing, I've seen so much lace in necklaces, bangles, and cuffs~

Summer OOTD

Yay! First Outfit Of The Day! Here's a new thing I'll hopefully do more often! This was yesterdays but I didn't have time to upload it. but here ya go! :)

For the outfit itself I got this really cute peachy lace crop top and shorts from Kohl's. I know it's not in the pic but I also had on black converse. I'm not sure where the necklace is from (I got it as a gift) but it's my favorite part of the outfit! (Sorry about the quality. Once again, I used my phone...)

Here's my hair. I was getting so sick of my straight, lifeless hair. So I went to bed with foam rollers in (ouch!). But in the morning, it ended up being a little uncontrollably crazy. So I just grabbed it all, but it in a really small braid, and bobby pinned the loose layers down.

This is just a view from the side. My bangs were really pretty (and actually curled normal) so I left them down on both sides.

Window Shopping (Forever 21)

So yesterday I went to Forever 21...amazing!! I ended up leaving with a pencil skirt and a lace headband, two things I've wanted...forever! :). But on my way out, the manikins were calling my name. I loved their outfits and went right back in to try and find them. Attempt failed. Anyway, here are a few of them that relly stood out.


First off, I am so sorry for the pic quality. I took these with my phone and couldn't figure out a way to reduce the reflection. But I'm sure you can still see the point of the pics.

This one really strikes me as odd. I have always been one of those people that pair a patterned skirt with a simple top. This top is lace over a bright blue cami...and it works! I don't particularly love the skirt but the style of this outfit is really cute!

In this pic, I love two of them. The coral top is so pretty! Coral is definitely the color of the season! But the all white outfit is stunning! The skirt is a layered lace mini skirt. The shirt is just a scoop neck white tee tucked in. But to add a little pop of color, a black "color" necklace lays right along the neck of the shirt. If I were to recreate this outfit, I would have used a brown thick buckle belt across the waist where the shirt and skirt meets. Or I would have added a thick turquoise necklace.
